Tiny Video Game Reviews 2019

All the video games I played in 2019, in order of appearance. * designates a meaningful re-play.

7 Billion Humans - I should have made this my puzzle game of the year. This game is going off the rails.

Flame in the Flood - Been itching to play this for a long time. Very excited to learn that it is deeper and more brutal than expected. A very well-contained survival rogue-like. Every item and enemy has its purpose and space without duplication. The choices are hard. The dog is wonderful.

Picross LUNA 2 - Kind of broke my rule here, but I've done Picrosses before. The giant 100x100 drawings made of 100 Picrosses is just elegant genius.

Q.U.B.E.: Director's Cut - I'm surprised to learn that this game didn't have a story when it was released. The story is the Portal cliche but is very convincingly written and acted. Too bad the puzzles are becoming less enjoyable as they go on.

* Human Fall Flat - This game is a riot with someone who is also into the silly physics. Also, the keyboard controls are WAY BETTER.

The Last of Us -

Alto's Odyssey -

Wilmot's Warehouse
