Sometimes I have something to say. Those things are in alphabetical order.
Expecting Better (2014)
by Emily Oster Finished 2025-10-21
I found Part 5 (Labor and Delivery) to be very useful. It made me aware of decisions that would have otherwise caught us off-guard, broke down some science, and gave a concise TLDR. Definitely going to be bringing some of that to the hospital.
Some of the takes earlier in the book are contentious. I didn't reach much of the early book since I picked it up at Week 28 of Nicole's pregnancy.
YOU DON'T KNOW JACK® (2011)
by Jackbox Games Top 25%
This game is continually hilarious, rewards a playthrough, and proves that I was into Jackbox before it was cool. The fake advertisements sit near the core of my internal meme gobstopper.
